Ontario Government Expanding Benefits for Care Providers
In April, 2026, the Ontario government announced plans to expand mandatory WSIB coverage to an additional 29,000 frontline care workers in privately operated residential care facilities, retirement homes and group homes.

The University of Calgary is conducting a research project to better understand the barriers neurodivergent people and their supporters face when seeking needed services. Individuals with lived experience, supporters, service providers, and advocates are encouraged to share their perspectives through a survey.

Caring for Those Who Care: A Photovoice Project with Caregivers of Children with Complex Care Needs
Trillium Health Partners is inviting caregivers in Peel Region to share their stories through a photovoice research project exploring how health systems can better support families.
