The one-time $150 payment to help offset the cost of getting the Disability Tax Credit begins rolling out in September 2026. If you have ever received a Canada Disability Benefit payment - even a single one - you'll get it automatically. No application needed.
$150 doesn't cover what many actually paid to get the DTC - and it brings nothing for those who paid and were denied but it's a step towards a more accessible CDB.
